Dee Howard

Owner and award winning Groomer Deidre Howard has been grooming dogs professionally for 15+ years. She graduated from Pampered Paws Grooming Academy in Toronto, 1997. Shortly after graduating, Deidre moved to the west coast and settled in Vancouver where she ran several successful dog spas over a 12 year period. She has won multiple awards for her grooming, including being honoured as the Silver Winner of the 2002 Best in the West – WestEnder Readers’ Choice award in the category of Best Dog Groomer, and the Georgia Straight Readers’ Choice Winner for Best Pet Grooming/Best Pet Spa in 2007 and 2008, and a Silver award in 2009.

In 2011, Deidre returned to Toronto to open Tailspin Dog Spa, a downtown doggy oasis. She believes every dog that comes to Tailspin is unique in their own special way and deserves the best love and care she can give them. She does this by ensuring a stress free environment, utilizing aromatherapy and hydro massage bath and conditioning as a standard part of every treatment. She uses eco-friendly shampoos and products.
